Mr Saymé, Specialist Orthodontist
Principal of Ipswich Orthodontic Centre

Mr Saymé was born in Hanover, Germany. After completing high school he joined the Red Cross Rescue Unit before studying dentistry at the Medical University of Hanover. During his studies he participated in a Preceptorship Program at the Orthodontic department of the University of California San Francisco (USA). Also during his studies, Mr Saymé engaged in research on Orthognathic (orthodontic) Jaw Surgery. Mr Saymé received his post-graduate training for the specialization in Orthodontics in Chicago (USA) and in Hamburg (Germany) and was recognized as a Specialist Orthodontist in 2004.

Mr Saymé’s main interests in Orthodontics include interdisciplinary cases and dental cosmetics. He is a member of the General Dental Council, British Orthodontic Society, British Dental Association, World Federation of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontics, BDK (German Federation of Orthodontists), the Suffolk Clinical Network Group and the Suffolk Local Dental Committee.

Mr Saymé’s personal interests include sailing, skiing and enjoying the English countryside.

Mrs Hewett was trained at Bristol University and is an Orthodontic Therapist at our practice. She has been part of our team since 2007. Her interests besides Orthodontics are Amateur Theatre and Drama.

Mrs Southgate was trained at Bristol University and is an Orthodontic Therapist at our practice. She has been part of our team since 2010.

 

Mr Saymé and all practitioners at the Ipswich Orthodontic Practice adhere to the GDC rules governing the profession.
