Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder (TMD)

Temporo Mandibular Joint Disorder is a condition most commonly caused by wearing of the anatomical structure, unbalanced bite, trauma or more general medical problems like arthritis. Symptoms can be very different depending on the patient, but include pain and clicking felt in the area near the ears where the lower jaw joint is located, pain when biting (with or without clicking), facial pain, pain in the area of the ears (with or without ringing of the ears), headaches and/or migraines.
